Remote Exploit Team has released new version BackTrack 4 Pre Releas. Developers have done the big operation: they have refreshed old software packages and have added the new. Now the distribution kit is grounded on popular OS Ubuntu. In BackTrack there was a possibility to use technology CUDA, allowing, for example, several times to increase speed of selection of keys. Resources are included in structure of preliminary version LiveCD of the distribution kit for testing of network safety BackTrack 4.0 for an acceleration of selection of passwords (Multihash CUDA Brute Forcer) and WPA keys (Pyrit), through involvement of technologies CUDA and ATI Stream, allowing to use GPU videocards NVidia and ATI for performance of computing operations. BackTrack 4 it is grounded on Ubuntu 8.10 and contains one of the richest the programs linked to safety: from resources for testing of web-appendices and penetration into wireless networks, to programs for data read-out with identification RFID chips. Now upgrade of utilities occurs directly from a repository of developers.
